2022年3月に京都市立芸術大学大学院修士課程陶磁器細目を修了。

人とやきものとの新しい関わり方を提示し、やきものの新たなあり方を提案している。

特に、陶磁土素材の割れや欠け、やきものの脆さに着目し作品発表を行っている。

 

文化や美術においてものの保存状態を維持し続けることは、歴史の足跡をたどるために必要な条件ですが、私はあえて破損や経年変化が発生しやすい状況を生み出し、作品を遺し伝えていくことを困難にします。

陶磁土素材のワレモノと人間との関わり方を再考するきっかけとなる作品を展示することで、ものの存在やものへの触れかた、その遺し方について新たな視座を設け、文化や美術といった歴史に対する提案を行います。

Uno Yu

 

I completed my master's degree in pottery at Kyoto City University of Arts in March 2022.

I propose a new way to relate people to yakimono and suggest a new way to make yakimono.

In particular, I focus on the fragility and cracks in ceramic materials.

 

Continuing to preserve things in culture and art is a necessary condition to follow in the footsteps of history, but this presentation creates a situation where damage and aging are likely to occur and makes it difficult to leave and convey the work.

By displaying works that will lead us to reconsider the relationship between the ceramic material Waremono and humans, we will create a new perspective on the existence of things, how to touch things, and how to leave them, and make suggestions on history such as culture and art.
